CRONCH

TERMS OF SERVICE

Effective August 15, 2026 · Version 1.0 · 한국어

The two things that matter most. ① Your records live only on your device. If you lose the device or delete the App, we have no way to recover them — please export a backup. ② Refunds for purchases are handled by the Apple and Google stores under their own policies.

1. Purpose

These terms govern your use of the mobile application Cronch (the "Service") provided by NamNamJjeopJjeop Recipe Book ("we", "us"), and set out the rights and obligations of both you and us.

2. Effect and changes

  1. These terms take effect when posted in the Service or on this page.
  2. We may change these terms within the limits of applicable law. We will announce the change and its effective date in advance. Changes that are unfavorable to users are announced at least 30 days beforehand.
  3. If you do not agree to a change, you may stop using the Service and delete the App.

3. What the Service does

  1. The Service lets you log the snacks you eat together with a photo, quantity, and time, and view them collected as a receipt.
  2. The Service requires no account. Your records are stored on your device.
  3. The Service has free features and paid features (Cronch Pro). What the paid features include is shown on the purchase screen in the App.
  4. The Service does not provide health, nutritional, or medical advice. The messages and statistics it shows are for entertainment and reference only.

4. Purchases

  1. Paid features are bought once through Apple App Store or Google Play in-app purchase. This is not a subscription and nothing renews.
  2. The price and currency are those displayed by each store.
  3. A purchase belongs to your store account. If you change device or reinstall the App, use "restore purchase" in the App to recover it.

5. Cancellation and refunds

  1. Refunds follow the refund policy and procedure of Apple or Google. Requests must be submitted to the store where you bought the item; we act according to the store's decision.
  2. Consumers in jurisdictions that grant a statutory withdrawal right — for example the 14-day right of withdrawal in the European Union, or the 7-day period under the Republic of Korea's Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce — may exercise it in accordance with that law. That right may be limited once delivery of digital content has begun, where the applicable law so provides.
  3. If a paid feature could not be used properly because of our fault, you may obtain a refund regardless of the limitation above.

6. Your data and responsibility

  1. Your records and photos are stored only on your device. We operate no server that holds them.
  2. Consequently we cannot recover data lost through a lost or reset device, deletion of the App, insufficient storage, or similar causes.
  3. The Service provides a backup export function. We recommend backing up important records regularly. You are responsible for keeping your backup files safe.

7. Advertising

We may show in-app advertising to users who have not purchased a paid feature. What advertising providers collect is described in our Privacy Policy. Purchasing a paid feature removes advertising.

8. Your obligations

9. Intellectual property

The design, text, images, and software of the Service belong to us. Content you enter or photograph in the App belongs to you, and we do not access it.

10. Changes to and discontinuation of the Service

We may change the Service or stop providing it. Where a material change or a shutdown affecting paid features is planned, we will give notice in advance and take the steps required by applicable law in respect of features already purchased.

11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

  1. We are not liable for damage arising from causes beyond our control, such as force majeure, defects in your device, or changes to operating system or store policies.
  2. We do not warrant the accuracy of the records, statistics, or messages the Service displays, and are not liable for decisions you make on that basis.
  3. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for our willful misconduct or gross negligence, nor any liability that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you as a consumer.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes are brought before the court having jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-law provisions of your country of residence, or of your right to bring proceedings there.
